Scripted Ink. is delighted to announce development investment in the rom-com feature film Another Time, by talented West Australian screenwriter Heather Wilson. With the assistance of Scripted Ink., this project has been optioned by production company Truce Films. ‘This is a great example of how Scripted Ink. can provide market opportunities by bringing writers and producers together,’ said Head of Development Tim Pye.

Having won the Bill Warnock Award through a partnership between Screenwest and the Australian Writers’ Guild, Heather is thrilled by this chance to take her screenplay into the marketplace. ‘Scripted Ink. has been incredibly supportive of me and my career,’ Heather said, ‘Their generosity provides writers with opportunities they may not have otherwise been afforded, and allows individuals the chance to advance. I’m very excited to be working with Scripted Ink. and Truce Films on Another Time’.

Another Time tells the story of Tom and Sal, who rekindle their relationship after realising that they can travel back in time to fix it. Jim Wright of Truce Films (Goodnight Sweetheart, Slingshot) said, ‘We are very excited by the opportunity that Scripted Ink. has created for us to work with Heather Wilson. She is an incredibly talented writer and it is a brilliant concept. Given the chance to develop properly, we believe it could become a classic Australian film’.
